How to build muscles and get stronger etc. without the gym.

    it will improve endurance and speed, if you throw fast strong consecutive punches for about 30 seconds, then quickly jump down do some explosive pushups and jump back up and do some more fast strong punches and combo's and take a small break and repeat(you should be well out of breath when you stop one rep)

    doing things explosively is getting your body used to getting oxygen quickly to muscles and the stretching and hard contraction of muscles is what increases muscle size do this and you'll have size(with a limit depending on your body type)while having very strong and well defined muscles

          well i dunno how this would help in regards to building muscle capacity .. but in regards to cardio.

          a great work out I've been doing is

          20 min on an Elliptical followed by 10 min on stationary bike

          rest .. where I jump rope in between w ankle weights for like 5-6 min .. but I'll add the push ups sit ups here as well.

          then go back and do 20 min on stationary bike followed by 10 min on Elliptical to finish it out

          I've been doing this routine for about 4-5 weeks now and I've noticed a significant increase in my stamina+endurance as I can go a solid hour playing basketball for example and not even feel the least bit tired

          try it out, dunno what it'll do boxing wise, but it's helped me (and it works diff muscle groups)

            You cant gain muscle through cardio.

                    Look up chest exercises that you can do, and then just do them on a decline bench.

                    One obvious decline chest exercise that comes to mind is doing the bench press on a decline.
