Only read your post, none of the others, so I'm sure what I am saying, or some of it has already been said.

For starters, you shouldn't of taken the fight. A 30lb weight difference is HUGE in the boxing ring.

When you spar down in the gym, it is a controlled enviorment. When you get into the ring, there is alot more going on. You have a ref in the ring, judges and officials on the outside, an opponent with a corner, and a CROWD. Three rounds in the gym is about one round in a real fight. In sparring you are there to work, you arnt exerting all of your energy to knock someone out(Not that you should be doing that in a real fight, but your new so it is to be expected).

Ontop of the weight advantage, he is older. He has a 'mans' strength, and also a year in the boxing gym worth of experience.

This was a ****** fight for you to take, and a even DUMBER mistake by your trainer to suggest/allow it. I would suggest finding a new trainer, anyone willing to throw a rookie into the ring with such a weight difference is DANGEROUS.
