    Headaches

    I wonder are headaches normal when you first start to spar? i was wondering do they go away how long and are they common place

    I never got any, and my defense was nonexistent. Several black eyes and a messed up nose but no headaches. That doesn't mean they won't occur, just that I didn't get any.

    Take a couple days off of sparring, and talk to your coach about it.

      there not concussion tho i think people just react differently. i spar with cruiser and heavy weights tho.

        I'm a heavyweight and i have been hit by big guys but i never had a headache after a fight or sparring.
