I'm on about the type who just uses power, slams into you, moves you, isn't using a great deal of technique or style or even great shots but just makes it impossible for you to properly box them. I'm a thinker so even in the ring I was figuring out different ways to fight him, i'm usually an inside fighter and use hooks to the body and head but I saw this guy was an aggressive 'bull' and is a weight class above me so he's much stronger. I tried to fight him with my fast jabs but that'd only keep him away for a while, and then he was on the inside and I was struggeling, I then tried to fight on my comfortable inside and that worked well for a while until he used his strength and i'm pretty sure pushed me away and into a corner. I can't figure out how to fight that style and I may be sparring him again tonight, any ideas besides out-fighting which doesn't seem to work that well?

Outfighting doesn't work that well? LOL, it is the way to beat these so called raging bulls. The problem is you must not be doing it right, and it may be an area for you to improve on. If you give them alot of lateral movement while popping that jab, they will have to work twice as hard to get in.
By fighting them straight on, it's you that is getting worn down. reverse the roles, and give them lateral movement so they get worn down! And once they slip in past a jab, nail them with a good cross. If he's rolling that, throw it into his chest. follow up with a left hook if in doubt. Basically try to cath them as much as possible while they are coming in. Sounds like you just need to think about fighting outsidea bit more.
Even if you are lacking in reach and need to fight inside, then the jab is a good way to control everything, and using lateral movement is still the way to tame the bull and beat him inside. Work the angles and throw hooks from different asides, as well as uppercuts once them hooks land. Slip, roll and jab when you come in, and whenever the jab lands and creates openings follow it up with something. You can do these things while moving in and out too.

Just move out of his way. Combos and a high gaurd. You have no business sparring if you are gettng your ass whooped by someone who is pushing you around the ring and cant figure out what to do. Unbelievable. And hes only a weight division above ya. Thats not ****. Grow some balls and be prepared to take to give some.
