Youl should just get a stop watch go for a 30 minute jog but every morning and sprint for theseconds run for another 2 mins then do anutha sprint just to mix up the roadwork. But also to get very fit i recommend do 400m intervals.

If you're 13 then I think a few miles 3-4 times a week is more than enough but you can do more if you feel comfortable with it. Them intervals recommended are good for you. i mix it up and do interval running one day and jog the next.
