Hey Mate, You could probly join a gym and just learn the basics. Other than that

*Make sure you hold your fist tight when punching

*Get some wraps and some proper gloves, ezy wraps are better for beginners.

*Maybe watch some instructional vids on punching

go to a boxing club and learn the basics, or even just join a boxercise class. Buy some cheap gloves and wraps, they'll do the trick for fitness.

I live out in the middle of nowhere, literally around 20 miles from the nearest health club/gym, which is why I had to purchase my home gym which is in the garage.

I wish I could go, but unfortunately I can't, so I'm going to have to try & learn the basics at home.

America is a weird place! I would recommend making that trip just once so you know how the tempo is meant to be.
