  • Is this a bad thing? (newbish question)

Well say like you got 25 people in your one boxing class session, then the trainer pulls you out specfically and does pad work + sparring with you, while everyone else is training with the other coach, doing pad work and sparring with him (and each other). is it like, I need one for one cause I suck? sorry need to know where i'm heading lol, I asked my friend and he said I looked alright on the pads I suppose.

He has a crush on you.

Anyways, it really depends on what kind of person you'r trainer is.

ya very good point.. all dependso n the trainer, and what he is thinking..

but my trainer personally would defintely have to like the guy and think he has potential and what it takes to take the time out to spend with you... so i would take that as a compliment for sure

It really all depends on where you stand skillwise right now. However, if the trainer is taking time to work with you one-on-one, I always seem to think he does care about you somewhat, because if he really didn't give a ****, he wouldn't waste his time on you.

If you are a beginner, him taking the time to work with you individually probably means he wants to see you improve.

If you're fairly experienced, him taking the time to work with you probably means he sees more potential in you than some of the other fighters, and sees a bigger opportunity to make something of it.
