ice pack for 10 minutes and let it rest. It may potentially lead into an arthritic/joint problem similar to meniscus tears in knees (which I had and took care of). Look into joint supplements. Something with MSM/Glucosamine is great. You should definitely take some time off with ice down sessions at least twice a day and let it heal.Good luck.

Fish oils definitely help. Fish is great for joints. Real fish, not just tuna you know. Anti-inflammatories are good. Ibuprofen is always recommended with joint problems. Another supplement that's good for blood vessel tone is L-arginine. I wouldn't take more than 1 ibuprofen a day and at least every other day during your healing period. The problem associated with taking NSAID's (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) is that it should never be incorporated as a daily regimen due to the fact that since it is a vaso-dialater you will thin your blood out to much. If you get hit and bleed or get cut bad during a spar or fight. It will take significantly much longer to stop blood flow and/or scab due to your blood being too thin too coagulate. Hope this helps.
Edit: "take some time off" not at most but at least a week. You don't need to stop running or any other exercise so long as that elbow is not in direct conflict with your "healing period"
