    Still having club connundrums...

So, I recently moved to a really small town to further my education--a town small enough that I didn't think there was a boxing club in it. The nearest pure, acclaimed club is about half an hour away, but the highway between here and there is very treacherous in the winter.

However, I recently found out that there's an MMA training facility here, but it seems pretty johnny-come-lately, and I don't know anyone who goes there that I can ask about the nature of it. I don't know if I should look into the dodgy-looking MMA club or shell out all the money on gas and go to the established club and possibly die on the highway when it starts to freeze over.

    Man, this sucks...

Id say go to the MMA place because usually those MMA gyms still have a good amount of boxers in them

Yeah, I was thinking that too. The advertisement I came across said they trained in boxing as well, but, it seems like they'd train me in landscaping if I were willing to pay for it... I still want to call them to find out of they sanction bouts through USA Boxing or not.

Its funny I started out at a MMA gym but it was ran by a guy who was a MMA fighter but a professional boxer at one point. I went back to this gym recently because me and my trainer will go there to find sparring and now its more boxing based. I think the MMA gym a be fine for you. There is a lot of similarities between the two ya know.
