As many know I broke my wrist 2 months ago. It has since healed about 95% and I started back in the gym a couple weeks ago very slowly. Since my wrist broke I put on 10 lbs of flab right in my gut and drank like a fish. Now it is so friggin hard to break out of this cycle. Anyone been through an injury and have some advice???

Just think about your short-term and long-term goals, and how drinking doesn't factor into it.
If you're having trouble with completely stopping, then cut the amount each week, so that you still have some if you need it, but are just cutting the amount until you reach a point where you're consuming none.
Either that, or just stop drinking period. First few days might be hard for you, but then you'll forget about it.
