Feel disapointed

    I think the guys i spar against feel they have to up the notch cos im so much bigger than them, but im still not comfortable with sparring as ive only done it around 2 times beforehand! The one thing im proud of myself for is the fact i didnt quit, and just kept going and still trying to land punches on him even though i was getting torn to pieces with blood everywhere, my coach commented on this saying i had bottle, only good thing about it really :/

      Good for you for getting in the ring and giving it a go! It's the only way you'll learn! Gotta take every opportunity you can get to practice! Unfortunately, getting hit is just part of the learning process. You showed that you were able to do the right thing just by sparrring!

        That makes sense, you bigger guys get it hard because the smaller guys think they have an excuse to throw punches full strength. bigger guys also have alot more force behind punches so sparring can be a delicate affair knowing you can really hurt each other if tempo picks up.
