    Sauna Suits

What do people think of them and which one is the best? I am thinking of getting a nylon Lonsdale one with plastic inner. In the past i have has a vinyl Everlast one and it was just ****e. They always tear. The just nylon ones don't have same effect and smell! They are not easy to wipe and no plastic means no sauna even though they do not rip. I think this one will be best of both but what is people experience with such products?

They make you sweat more and make the weight. The heat generated in the suit means more calories are burned. The website's main sauna suit page has this on it:

Sweat Suit's and Sana Suit's use your natural body heat that is generated from any type of physical exercise to increase perspiration during training. The increase in your body temperature due to the sauna effect the sweatsuit creates helps increase your calorie burning. This enables you to maximize the weight loss in your workout and in certain circumstances doubling or tripling your workout results. The entire body is stimulated through perspiration therefore helping to rid the body of excess water weight gain and helps melt away unwanted body fat. The sweatsuit is used from top professional sportspersons in boxing, rugby, bodybuilding, horseracing jockeys to the everyday person.

i strongly advise you not to use a sauna suit, if you can't make the weight naturally for whatever reason, putting undue strain on your heart through dehydration and increased body heat is not the answer. unless you cannot make weight and are absolutely desparate, do not use a sauna or sweat suit.

Seriously mate, I want advice on the best one and not these opposing camp opinions which I am well aware of. I live in England near the freezing River Mersey where it is freezing 90% of the time and most boxers in UK wear it without dropping dead including Hatton, Calzaghe, etc. Maybe where you are from someone dropped dead from heat exhaustion but not here! It's like saying people who train in hot countries and find it easier to make weight are in danger of overheating! I don't see how it is any different to training in a warmer climate. Now if someone in Rio De Jenairo wear it, that's a different case altogether.

Most of the paranoid scaremongering arguments against sauna suits are bull****! People are too touchy feely and all safety safety nowadays. They won't even turn off the AC at the posh gyms! Sauna suits are safe and they create extra bodyheat during training which is especially handy in winter. If you are a pragmatist, they work and you use them.

you may have heard bad things about everlast, and for the most part it was right, but i think you'll be happy with this one.

              Merci monsieur!

Yeah you are totally right. The usage of sauna suits differs for each climate. Where you are from it would be silly really, but in the cold it is necessary IMO. Our winter has begun already! we haven't had a proper hot day since 2006!!!

As foir everlast, it is not what I heard but what I seen. Everything of their's that I buy or use is no good. that's why i don't use them anymore. i don't mind paying a bit more for quality. It is that very one which started tearing from the pits. I actually got it from the mexican trainer in Contender with a goatee when he came to England.
