How can you disagree?! You can't spar or fight a round and only throw one type of punch. Look at the round again. Who can't defend against a jab, when you know that's the only shot coming.

Darkstranger even agreed with the point.

D/S you look strong though, and fitness is obviously no problem. Hopefully catch you on a show sometime? If i see ya, i'll come and say hello. You got no need to be gun shy, i'm sure you've taken some hits before - you ain't made of glass by no means!

Yo doog all ill say is the jabs defintely nice, you got long arms and thats a plus however i dont think you ever 1-2d the entire round, ill tell you something about the jab-straight combo, the jab steadys you and gets you closer the straight pulls you in, and the rest is instinct look for the left hook to the body1 and also work on pivoting about troubl he backed you against the ropes and you had no defense or stablizer to sustain yourself!

You're pretty good for 12months. Very good movement for someone your size imo. I fight 154lbs so i'm naturally in a faster division where we move alot but for a guy your size you def can move.

WHERE IN GODS NAME DID YOU BUY YOUR SHOES?! ive been looking for those since forever =(

Your jab is slow and stiff, but mechanically sound. try getting some more snap, speed and accuracy into it. Lay off the fried chickens and go for a run mate. you're doing OK but need to step it up.

What if I replace the BBQ beans with coleslaw, will I still be able to have my bucket of 24 pieces? lol

Aiit, cheers for the advice bro, I'll be stepping up my running over the next few weeks leading up to the start of our season.

Good jab, but dont think we can see much more of what you've learnt as at the moment you're still worried about being hit. You seem very stiff and tense, also as soon as you were jabbing could tell by your body language that you were tensing up waiting worriedly to be hit. Also when your opponent was throwing you seemed to tense up and freeze, hence why his punches were getting through your guard so many times. When ur out of range (because u were more relaxed as he cant hit u) i could tell from your movement that you've learnt how to slip and move.
The thing that would improve you the most right now is sparring as much as possible. The more you spar the more you'll get used to being hit and the more relaxed you'll feel. Only once you're relaxed in the ring can you work on the combos, slipping, parrying and countering you've learnt in principle in training.

How often do you spar by the way?

You hit the nail on the head bro!

I'm stilll trying to overcome the fear of getting hit, it's proper psychological block! It'so ironic too seeing as I'm the heaviest Super Heavy at the club.

Cheers for the advice bro, will get some more sparring in and hopefully get a video showing some improvements.
