Cool, what will max strength do for you do? Does that help punching power aswell as explosive strength?

I'll try the exercise tomorrow though. But am I supposed to press the wall with my arms slightly bent or more like 90+ degrees?

Can anyone else give his opinion on the reps/sets for plyo pushups etc btw?

    Thanks in advance!

max strength refers to the maximum amount you can lift. explosive strength is more about how quickly you can release your power from potential to kinetic energy. basically, it will make your punches faster and more powerful.

you can also do iso drills with actual punches. get in your stance in front of a wall and push against it with a bent arm, then half extended punch and fully extended punch. as before follow it up with say a 30 sec punch out drill with whichever punch you are working.

      good luck!
