    Absolutely rediculous.

There is absolutely no way you can be serious right now and if you are, join a different gym. The one you supposidely train at right now obviously isn't training you well at all.

What we have hear are two ****ing idiots giving advice which does not make any sense.

Handspeed can be improved full stop, it is limited by technique and genetics. It's not unlike any other movement, to say you can't improve is pretty much saying "you can never sprint faster" or "you can never jump higher". Bull****, you do squats, calf raisers, etc. to improve these. And yes you can improve this. Otherwise why would you train conditioning? If you couldn't improve there would be no reason to put yourself through the pain of intense training. Ignorant people like you make this forum a ****ing joke half the time, arguing on points which are so clear cut it is rediculous. Things such as weighted shadow boxing and elastic rope are excellent tools to improve your handspeed so have a look into it mate. To the two idiots in here please don't type responses which mislead people looking for good advice, do some research before you post.

DA1CATAS is a respected member of the forum, anyone who has any sense listens to him, so shut the **** up and let those of us who are here to learn do so without you whining in the backround.

I've seen De La Hoya using them, small dumbells that is.. but I would have thought speed comes from the technique of punching

yeah it's a lot about technique. when I'm sparring a lighter guy I usually keep my left out further so my hand gets to him faster, cuts way down on power but it usually takes me maybe 1/3 less time to reach him. my hand not having to travel as far essentially makes it faster.

Talk to me when you can show any clear knowledge of the sport. Something you lack immensely. If you are arguing that it can improve speed is like saying you can improve your chin by getting hit. You can learn how to take a punch and the technique of it all but it wont get stronger. Same with handspeed it is like wearing 10oz gloves takes them off and because you trained in 10s your hands 'feel' lighter for 5 seconds until you adapt. You are talking bull**** to me boy. Quit copying everyone else and have an opinion on the subject please.
