  • How to Put on Weight Fast?

    Im almost 16 yrs old and at the moment weigh at 135 pounds.
    i never really watch what i eat, but i work out 3-4 times a week.
    was wondering how i can get higher in weight quickly? say to about 145 or 150 in a few months?



    any ideas?

    Depends if you're fussy about what weight you want to put on. You could eat lots of fatty foods before going to bed and you'll start picking up the pounds in no time.
    Drinking water before weighing yourself will add a bit of weight.
    But if you're set on muscle weight then you're just gonna have to eat more. Usually they say four small meals a day is best, including plenty of protiens and carbs. Steak, chicken and potatoes are all good along with appropriate excercises. I usually had to cut down on running though and add extra weight training to gain a bit.

    But the main thing to remember is to eat more of the right foods.

      Yeah, any ideas on what to eat?
      junk food?

      heavy weights or light weights?

        eat lots of meat (preferably red) and eggs. lift heavy, try do 4 sets of 6-10 reps and go as many times to the gym as you can, just amke sure you rotate what you work on, so you dont work the same muscles two days in a row, becuase that will cause them damage. so work legs one day then chest the next then back ect. try not to work two major muscle groups in one day, eg chest and back. oh yeah if you havnt done wieghts before make sure you build up to 4 sets, you can start by doing 2 sets with a lighter wieght and then build up when you feel more comfortable to prevent injurie.
