i would say yes but caffiene, green tea extract, and chilli peppers can help to spped up your metabolism and aid in in weight loss. also chitosan and horse chestnuts bind to fat molecules, preventing absorption and canalso aid in making weight.

Seriously? do you know how to read? read the friggin nutritional information man! Half that food is loaded, even if you buy the good 4 U brands. Out of that list cut these (enjoy them once in a while though of course):
Hamburgers
Hot Dogs!!
Sausage!!..heh heh you nasty bugger
Cookies!!
Popsicles!!
Pogos!!
Pizza Pops!!
Eat More:
Eggs
Tuna
Cottage Cheese
Salmon (brain food..you need it lol jokez)
Pasta (mac & cheese doesnt count)
Veggies & Fruit (duh)
In general try to eat less bread & dairy, dont cut them out completely though. It may sound ****ty but eventually you wont crave your processed to hell junk food anyhow.

8 lbs over 3-4 shouldnt be an ordeal, just cut out all that american junkfood **** you have been eating, and just get good wholesome food into you. keep working out as per usualu, but you may want to start doing long distance runs if you dont already.
