Can't remember exactly.. But a book written by Jack Dempsey looked awesome. I was recommended it along with just a few quotes and it seemed incredible. Not sure exactly what it was called but the bit I read talked about power in fights, I'll try and hit you up because you just made me want to read it aswell. :P

i'm just in the middle of reading a biography on Ali and it goes pretty in depth with his life and career. it's called "King of the World." you get a real good perception of his attitude and his personality. it also goes into detail with sonny liston and flyod patterson.

I believe JF91 was referring to Jack Dempsey's Championship Fighting: Explosive Punching and Aggressive Defense, published in 1950.

Imo, that is a must read for all boxing fans. Old it may be, it is still extremely insightful and relevant. This book introduced to me the concept of the "power line", which I totally suscribe to. Excellent read!!

Depends whether you are after a more technical book or more of a story type read. I would definitely check out 'In the Corner: Great Boxing Trainers...etc etc'. It's a fantastic read from the other view outside the ring with some great guys in it.

Many interesting books out there. That list mentioned above would be a good place to start.
