If that was the case then why didn't you just say that? You said DQ and made everyone think you were a tit, which is what you sounded like. Well to be honest if that is your position then like I said you don't need to fix what is not broke. Just keep trying to progress and stay on top with your training and keep the confidence. If you are really 16-0, then I don't see where the problem is.
I was typing fast...and then I read it over and I can see where the confusion could have been lol... I was just saying that im losing motivation...I dont have a trainer anymore cause he went to ATL so Im basically in the gym by myself. I got a few sparring partners and a coach to work my corner but thats about it. **** i should be running rite now and im on here lol...

Stay focused on your goals. I think I said that somewhere else. You don't need an L to stop yourself from becoming slack. You should aim to stay on top and just try to improve all the time. Look up Kaizen and implement that method of continous improvement in your training. Well boxing is a business!

I agreea with kostya. I lost my first fight in the Golden Gloves. It was against a much more experienced opponenet. It made me train much harder for my next fights and it paid off. The next few weren't even a challenge.

Aah, okay. Not a DQ but a WO (walk over) then.

Confidence is a good thing though, no problem with that. Since you haven't lost yet, don't worry about it. When it happens, you'll know how much it sucks. Then you can use that feeling to work harder so it won't happen again.

Well, if you feel like winning makes you lose motivation, fight someone better (there are many, many of them out there). Not having a trainer is a bad situation. You're gonna have to go somewhere that has a coach for you sooner or later. I'd say make it sooner.

Yea its hard being in a small town...but Im finna graduate soon so Ill be going back to Chicago and getting up with a trainer and a gym. Im starting to pick up bad habits which sucks and I dont know how training with someone new would effect me...its like teaching a old dog new tricks Im pretty comfortable in my fighting style already. I was training with this heavyweight that fought Pro for a few years, and he taught me alot of things but it was totally against my style and I dont really use them...idk maybe this tourney will wake me up
