so i am trying to maximize my lean muscle mass and cut out all fat. i have a great diet, low carbs- low calorie, high protein, but i want to take a protein supplement cause i work out a lot and could use the added protein in addition to what i get in my meals..

i want to get a great powder mix to mix with soy milk for added protein (plus i like it better than milk- so much so that i dont drink milk anymore). any recommendations on a really good MULTIPLE SOURCE PROTEIN MIX? i heard its better to get a protein mix that has protein from multiple sources (like wheym soy, and other amino acids) than just whey alone.

ps. I do NOT want to gain any weight so don't recommend me weight gainers, creatine, etc. I am 6'3'' and a very lean 172-178 depending on how much I eat. I aim to fight 165, so I gotta be careful here. thanks guys.

hey. i have lots of good fat via fish oil pills (2 pills at breakfast and dinner, 1 at lunch) and peanut butter. I also am starting ripped fuel (no longer has efedra a la Roy Jones scandal)- one pill in the morning, one at lunch. so, here's the diet.

breakfast (this is my weakest meal probably):

            Toasted Everything bagel with Hummus
Cafe Americano (thats two espresso shots mixed with hot water) and soy milk

or a Bowl of Cheerios with soy milk

            Lunch:
Either 2 Chicken Tacos - these are quality tacos from a local place in my neighborhood. Its not like taco bell or anything. It 's a quality mexican, home made taco made at a stand in a local tortilla factory in my neighborhood, which happens to be predominantly mexican, dominican and puerto rican. it has freshly pressed corn tortillas, lean chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, a little cheese, onion, avocado, cilantro, a little salsa verde, lime juice

or grilled Chicken Salad (Chicken (marinated in lawry's sesame ginger marinade and griled in a little oil on a pan), sliced apple, lettuce, carots, tomatoes, peppers, balsamic vinegar dressing)

            Snacks:
Apples in Whole Food's Peanut Butter (my favorite)
            or Bananas
            or Yogurt
            or kiwi
or power crunch bar or a muscle milk

            Dinner:
grilled Chicken Salad (Chicken (marinated in lawry's sesame ginger marinade and griled in a little oil on a pan), sliced apple, lettuce, carots, tomatoes, peppers, balsamic vinegar dressing)

I also am a gum freak. I chew a pack of sugar-free Bubble Gum flavored Orbit a day. A friend who was a NY Golden Gloves runner-up told me chewing gum is good for the jaw muscles. this gum tastes so good that i worry about the sugar substitute in it - sorbitol, xylitol and mannitol. probably not bad for weight (chewing gum does encourage digestion), but who knows, they might discover it causes cancer 10 years from now....

anyway, so this is basically my diet, though if I am in Manhattan around dinner time I will sometimes have to settle for something else. I also change it up from time to time to keep my metabolism guessing. I'll treat myself to a big steak or eat pasta, usually whole wheat pasta. Anyway, looking forward to your advice. Thanks.

Bump. I'd love to hear your evaluation trrmo. I printed that out to give to my trainer today, but he doesn't want me worrying about weight till I get closer to fighting, so he wouldn't even look at it to make a point.

Anyway, I weighed in at 173 today and will probably be 170 by the end of the week. I usually gain back at least 5 pounds over the weekend though when I am not going crazy in the gym. your thoughts???

PS. I bought Wheybolic protein today and it tastes like doo doo, which coincidentally, is exactly what it makes you do....

Wheybolic is good stuff.......I work at GNC too so i have to say it! However; the best protein you can buy over the counter is Isopure by natures best, this my friend, is the truth and i have enough factual data to make Stephen Hawking **** himself!

please ask me some questions.....i would love to set the record straight.....

the supplement threads on this forum are often a good example of the blind leading the blind.....

cool. good to know. so why is isopure the best? how do you feel about ripped fuel vs. hydroxocut for cutting fat away leaving only sculpted lean muscle mass. i work out 6 days a week (train boxing 3 and run on off days, rest sunday) and my diet is posted in case that has to be taken into account.

my goal, stay lean as possible, cut weight when i have to to make 165 (not until januaryish) and maintain my weight now (even if i gain muscle mass). i also want to get as strong and fast as possible at this weight. and i'd like this supplement to make me lots of money too!!!!

                      thanks broseph!
