nah im not good enough to land them, by the way the title of the thread is "your fave combo", not "which combo you land nicest"
well its not the title but its the purpose of the threadLast edited by d_lyrik803; 06-29-2008, 10:22 PM.

if you can throw jab-lefthook fast you usually score at least with one of them but its kind of tricky
i love jab, straight, left upper, straight, very easy to throw and packs a lot of power.
of course the 1-2 its basic for anyone but i have found that many ppl specialy in the amateurs use this execively (incluiding me when i was less experienced) and when you opponent catch your 1-2 rythm you are heading for dissapointment.

lead right hand then spin off with a left hook is a fave of mine but i try not to use it heaps. i find that a simple 1,2 or 1,2,1 mixed in with the occasional left hook or uppercut added is most effective. a lead right sometimes confuses people. some of the best ams i have seen throw near exclusively straight punches

jab, overhand right, left hook to the body and straight right.
helps if youre fighting a counterpuncher, an inside fighter, a boxer anyone, if you see your opponent is there for the taking then you could add another left hook to the head and then another straight right.
can't help but think 3/4 punche combos are ideal, occaionally i guess you could get away with 5 punches. generally i find that that most people after 4 punches get sloppy, are just brawling, or have lousy technique or their punches begin to lack snap and speed.
