do you wear the cup/compression shorts under the title cup? my trainer was recommending doing that if i got the grant pro protector because of the aformentioned problem.

anyone know if they make a hook and loop style reyes? that looks snug.

how is the winning no-foul? discuss.. discuss....

ps. i actually got the fightgear mexican headgear instead of the expensive winning. i figured that since collazo's the only dude at my gym with winning, i didn't want to seem come across as some punkass rich kid who just buys the best **** before i even get my box game up. the fightgear has served me very well in sparring!

wtf? what are you talking about? so you have to be a rich kid to afford 170 dollars? you have to be looked at as a rich kid if you want to be smart and protect your health the right way? wow I dont know what type of gym you go to then! going cheap on headgear is not smart. Alot of people on here and at gyms think its smart but trust me its ****ing ******. same thing goes for gloves

ever spar luis? no way. i wouldn't be able to hit him once. the difference between any pro and a beginner or even semi-accomplished amateur is worlds apart, much less a world champion. i saw him spar will rosinsky- ny 4 time golden gloves champion at 178 and will could barely find him!

its not ****** man. there is comparable headgear to the winning at 70 bucks (fightgear) and 80 bucks (grant). you dont need winning at all and many pros dont use it, though a lot of them do (the ones who have won big purses usually). its a nice luxury though, im sure.

unless your sparring pros that hit hard as **** and you are sparring intensely many times a week in training for fights, its not gonna make a huge difference. i spar once a week tops, mostly ever other week. i've also tried winning gear and it seems a little better than mine, but not by much.... so no, its not ****** at all dude. chill out.
