Stop benching and start doing press ups on your knuckles and chin ups/dips/etc. If you really want to box you would be going to a boxing club and sparring. That would answer your questions about your huge potential and what to do with it.
look for a poster named huricn in the aussie lounge.. he is a trainer at one of the top gymns in sydney and im sure he'll hook you up if you send him a message
Thanks Kirk and Raphael those words of advice have helped me in more ways you can Imagine, I contacted Huricn awesome he can be the judge of my 'potential'.
The one obvious piece of advice I can offer you is you absolutely have to get to a boxing gym if you are actually serious.
You are 23 years old, and you are effectively just starting. It isn't impossible to be successful, but that is very late, so you can't be ****ing around hitting a bag at your house. If you actually want to do something with boxing, get to a gym, start training hard, get some sparring and coaching, and look to get some bouts as soon as possible. If you just want to do boxing for fun and fitness, hey, that is great, and people here can help you with some excersises and punching technique tips and you can probably work out at home. From the title of your thread though where you talk about huge potential it looks like you have other ideas.

You know what's ****n funny, I spent 6 months living in Toowoomba at one stage :0 Yes I'm so serious about this that I'm going to see Team Hurricane in Blacktown as soon as I get back reputadley the best boxing club in Aus.
