I live in San Antonio, TX
We break 100 every summer and have relatively high humidity (not like Bmore tho).
We also do not have AC in our gym.
Ceiling fans & portable fans help.

Yeah I'm sure they do, but we don't have any fans in our gym either, nor are we allowed to bring any with us.

My mom talked to one of her friends that used to be a doctor, and the friend said that I should avoid training under these conditions as I can do a lot of damage to my heart. Looks like I'll have to do the exercises at home over this summer, and get back into the gym in the fall.

yah i'm pretty sure the training i was doing when i first moved back to texas (fort worth) was a big reason i can't train like i used to. I was throwing up almost every workout in 100 degree weather. gym had only weak ceiling fans and was in a big metal warehouse. not a good idea to push too hard in the heat like that.

i used to work out in dc on occasion - all the concrete in that town would really retain heat and make it hotter than outside of city limits. Plus that humidity, no breeze, and no trees like we got here; i'll stick with texas.
