Just wondering your guys thoughts on taking a break from training because of illness or injury. Discipline isn't my problem. I turn up every day, even if i don't push myself hard, and I do it because I actually want to.

I've started to realise I need to take a break, even if it's a day or two off because the flu has hit me bad. Tonight I went home early just because I was so dazed out I was pretty much standing there letting someone through repeated hooks to my head without flinching...

If you had the real flu, you wouldnt be able to get out of bed. I actually find that if i train through sicknesses and illnesses then i get over them faster, ive trained through gastritis (unbalanced acidic juices in you stomach, everytime i moved i felt like i was gona throw up) many times and always train through colds etc. Some people may disagree, but if you can train hard when your not 100%, imagine what you can do when your fit.
