is there anything wrong with waking up at 4 in the morning doing roadwork for a half hour and then sleeping for a couple of hours?

I don't get what you're trying to point out. So you're saying why even hit a heavy bag if you're not pro? Why hit a speed bag, shadowbox, etc etc. if you're not pro?

Or do you mean why get up at 4 when you can just do it later?

          not a good post...

the point IS to be better than the competition..

Tyson used to get up at 3 30 and run and the reason being because he wanted the edge over the other guys who may have been waking at 5 or 6.

not sure the answer but running at any time is better than not running. BUT you do need ample rest every night.
