    lost....

As some of you may know, i had a fight scheduled for today. Well i fought today at about noon over here. I weighed in at 130.5 and my opponent weighed in ay 132 on the dot.

The fight was going fine. I felt i was easily controling him. He has no jab at all and kept lunging in with shots. We made it through the first round which i felt i dominated. Second rounds going, we exchang some shots on the inside i get hit with a little shot, nothing clean or big. Im like ok whateva and keep fighting. Then the ref grabs me and looks at me for a seconds. Says "Your bleeding son" and stops the ***in fight. I had a ***ing dribble of blood coming down my nose. It wasnt even bad at all like to a point it was gushing or even running down my face. At the time he stopped it i was ahead 9-2 on the scoredcards. I also think thats ***in ridiculous. What do they not score jabs now or what? I hit him with like 10 jabs clean in the first round on top of all the other shots i landed. I told the kid i wanted a rematch and he didnt say nothing. So I told his trainer i want a rematch. I left and now im just furious. I dont wanna do anything. I just wanna fight that mutha ***a again. He sucks. Kid really ******. Then they stop it cause i have a drop of blood coming from my nose? Man im just so upset.

something similar happened to a kid at our gym about a month ago. the ref let him finish, but gave him 2 standing 8 counts because of a bloody nose. it was fine. it wasn't broken or damaged, just a little bloody. i don't know what the scores were, but it was a close fight and those 2 standing 8s could been the difference.

Massachusetts. I'll be in Florida in about 2 or 3 weeks though. My mother and brothers are coming down for my graduation and im going back up with them for the summer until i go to college here in MA. I live with my oldest brother in MA. My mother and other brothers live in Orlando. I bounce around. I like MA better but i like to see my mother and brothers so i spend summers there.

I'll be in Orlando, Florida again in 2-3 weeks in the Valencia area. I couldnt find any boxing gyms around there last year.

**** man - really unlucky. If they do actually stop fights in amateur for bloody noses, well then, there's no chance I'll ever win a fight (my nose just bleeds like crazy during sparring sessions).

Does your nose ever bleed during sparring?

dang men that sucks, there is people that naturally just bleed easy, doesnt mean they are hurt or anything, i have taken some really bad beatings and my nose never bleeds, but i have sparred and fought guys that start bleeding just from grazing them. my mouth usually gets cut from the inside but thats about it, good luck with the rematch bro, hope you get a better ref next time, and not one with his head up in his ass.
