  • Trouble Training in Morning

    When I first started training boxing, I got accustomed to training at night but with my schedule always fluctuating nowadays, I got to start training in the mornings (9 AM). And, the morning really sucks for me, and I think I know why, I drain really fast because I don't eat anything in the morning to fuel me through my workout. My main excuse to that is that nothing sits well in my stomach before a workout, I have to eat probably like 3 hours before a workout in order to make it through a work out without puking, thats just my body, and I don't like it. I need advice on what good things to eat (good carbs) in the morning other than oatmeal (doesn't sit well in stomach) to give me the energy needed.

    eat an apple or a banana 30 minutes before a workout.

    or better yet, put half a banana + some strawberries + honey + water into a blender and chug it down.

        Too much sugar. You'll crash. Add some protein powder to it, and your set.

          yeah i don't want to crash in the middle of my work out, almost the same effect im getting now with no food before. thx for replies. any other suggestions?

            wake up at 5 eat oatmeal. Go back to sleep wake up at 9 do your workout.

              no man... you dont eat in the morning ... you need to train on pure instinct ... drink some water... u burn stored fat in the morning with no food in your stomach... you burn whatever you just eat or drink ...


              i would say work out in the morning... with rocky 4 training scene in the background and work off of pure guts glory ... eat immediately after your done though ... it will take sometime getting used to but eventually you will be tough enough to endure it ...
