    Newbie here: NJ gym recommendations

Hey, I'm a martial artist looking to get into amateur boxing. Anybody from North Jersey here have any gym or trainer recommendations? Also, I'm coming with a dojo mindset here, so what are some of the protocols of boxing training--stuff I will need, basic workout routines, etc.?

    Thanks.

I'm in Bloomfield, near the Newark border, but work near Paterson. I know there's a joint in East Newark, and a bunch of places in Paterson. Just wondering if anybody has any recommendations. Do you have to find a trainer on your own, or are there just guys around the gyms that will help you?

        Thanks.

It's alot different to martial arts..

When I left kick boxing.. It felt alot more independant at first..
