Yeah i agree, i always try to find ways to make it more interesting though. Like i chose a random move to try master, last time i worked on side stepping and throwing the left hook fluently. Made it more fun

            ill wake up and shadow
            i think its fun personally
helps to pick out flaws and work on new things you can try sparring or in a bout
to think any part of boxing is boring is showing you that you need new sport

You seem pretty final about that, is there scientific evidence to back up this statement?

i think shadowboxing is key training for improvement, best t hing to do... but ya it can get boring at times. i like to shadowbox to music in rhytem to make it fun and time passes way faster like that. and switch up styles in rounds n do different things to make it fun, throw tons of punches one round, focus on combos or speed / powerpunching for some rounds. make it fun, think, use ur brain, shadowboxing is mental too.

If you box and say that shadowboxing is boring then that's a problem, when shadow boxing is a very usefull thing to do. You can work on a lot of things, therefore improving your footwork and visualizing someone infront of you to execute different angles. Shadow boxing is VERY usefull and if you box and say its boring then that's a problem and probaly boxing isn't for you.
