    as for my diet, i ate well,absoloutely no junk at all up until the weekend :

    on friday night i ate a takeaway meal, a choc thickshake and some barbecque shape biscuit thingos

    on sat i ate some more barbecque things, like 5 lolloies, and some choc biscuits (i dont have any trouble at all making weight though)

    so yeah would you consider this ok in prep for a fight noting that its probably only an exhbition fight ill be having (becuase im only 44 frikin kgs theres hardly anyone my age in my weightclass in my city) and i dont have to make weight.............

        Yeah that seems cool, you do alot of sparring, I think I need alot more skill and fitness before I could spar that much so that's pretty cool. Our sessions tend to go roughly like;

        Warm up, i.e running on the spot, squats etc.

        Roughly 10 rounds of bag work,, starts off free working (whatever you want), then an example is backhand only etc etc.

        Fitness, I don't know how many exactly but at a guess it's about 5 sets of 7 x each exercise which are things like burpees, press ups, clap press ups, sit ups, pike jumps etc etc.

        Then back on the bags and then finish on the bags by just "digging into it" which means forget boxing you just hit hit hit hit hit constantly just to do that "sprint finish".

        Then we unwind.

        Then it's on to skills where you practice the left jab, backhand straight, uppercut, left cross etc. This goes on for a while, different combos etc.

        Then it's onto the bags to practice, then it's the sprint finish.

        Training is about 2 to 2 /14 hours. Then I try and run most of the way home, I prob get about 2 of the 3 miles done.

          Training seems good in terms of preparation for the fight.

          As for diet, I would just cut out the junk food (even on weekends). Just to make things interesting, make yourself a deal: no junk food coming up to the fight, and if you win your fight, (if you must), treat yourself to junk food after the fight. That's what I would do, but I've not had junk food for over 5 months now, so I guess it's a bit easier for me to do that.

          Anyways, things are looking good. Good luck on your fight.

              I dont go to a gym but @ home i do. 1.5 min of skipping rope - 5 min of shadowboxing in the mirror with about 2 kg dumbells -4X3.5 rounds going heavy at the heavybag. And 3X10 pushups and 3 sets of 50 sit-ups.
