Glass jaw

a "glass Jaw" is a term in boxing which means a fighter fights with his mouth open. If you fight with your mouth open, you're suceptible to getting knocked out. Hence, glass jaw.

Pretty sure "glass jaw" just means that you can't take a good punch. Guys only fight with their mouths open if they are newbs, exhausted, or have an issue with their nose, that's about it. A clean, hard shot to an open or closed jaw will knock most people out. The difference is, if your jaw is open it will be broken.
