link just goes to the site and im not gonna search for the gloves but if they're the 30 dollar ones and not the pro training gloves then no they are rock hard, and will break both your hands and you're opponents' faces.

The link doesn't work for me, but make sure you get Everlast PRO Training Gloves(should be $79.99). You should get 16 oz. for sparring.

Cheers for the advice. In the end I bought some Lonsdale Pro Training/Sparring gloves. When the first person said that they'd prob' be rock hard I remembered that even with mitts Everlast's £16 version were good but pretty solid whilst Lonsdales £12 mitts were reasonably good and well cushioned. I mainly want the gloves for bag work because wearing I found training with 14 oz. on the bag and with technique goes to peices when you've got 14 oz. I'm practicing my guard etc with these small lightweight mitts and then when you stick gloves on I find my guard always lowers and then my hands aren't in the right position to throw punches etc. So, with that in mind I didn't want to spend £50 + on gloves.
