i would recommend you firs't get a good diet and then worry about supplements. Do you even know why you want to take creatine and protein ?

Creatine is good for supporting muscle mass and stores food and is good for the even transfer of energy. it is slightly anabolic because it makes you hold a little water and assists in steady strengh gain provided thats what you want and have the right training and diet in check. I say its slightly anabolic but without the side effects of steroids because it is natural.

I have 1 and a half tea spoons of creatine in a protein shake 45 mins before and half hour after a train. along with 4 meals of unsaturated and a balanced diet i feel it helps me recover from my workouts.

Oh not to mention I have multivitamins with my first meal and last to make sure I have them built up in my system. Although with the right diet this isnt necessary, just peace of mind for me
