Lost no confidence at all. It just made me way more determined.

my first spar was alright, exchanged good punches with some more experienced guys (boxing for 6 months when i had only done 1 month) and came out on top. then a kid who was smaller than me with 6 years exp worked my body hard
it made me more determined too

I kept circling the same way, and made everyone watching dizzy, which was embarrassing for me but noone thought anything of it. I was 11 at the time, and I took some shots and dished some out. I gave the other lad a bloody nose so I thought i'd given more than I'd got, which did my confidence good. After the final bell I wanted to jump back in and do it again and that's when I really got the bug for boxing. That said, i'm nervous every time I go and spar.
