Cheers for the feedback guys!
I'll get on the case with those pointers and get more videos up in the near future. I'm very conservative as you could all see, I basically lack a bit of aggression. Sometimes I feel too exposed when trying to be aggresive. Which I think is a major disadvantage but on the other hand will hopefully stop me getting involved in a brawl in my first fight.
Cheers for the help lads, will keep you posted.

gd sessions i cant wait til i get mine up!
If you gna do david haye style as a heavy then look for that right hand throw it more and move your upper body more if you cant do that then keep ur left hand up.
That style ur doing isnt for everyone but if u can make it work for u then it can be pretty gd.
Look for the right hands and try to counter.

Sterling, I hear that bro!
I've seen it so many times in debut bouts. One guy starts getting outboxed then turns into a brawl. I think that's when it's down to you to try and keep a cool head and use your footwork to try and not get involved.
Easier said than done though! lol
Cheers for the hints!

wait, dont end the thread just yet mate,
ok i thought is was good, however you do have a lol of potentioal,
the guy you fight althoguh he looks good, as he comes farwud and flurrys on you,
you look the better one as your calm, and you block move ect more of a boxer and with time can become much better,
you can easily beat that guy and here how,
dont just jab and then move even if you miss?
step[ farwud and jab, aim through his head, like your hitting sumonne behind him, that way your sure to reach with opwer and will punch thropugh his gaurd even,
also jab, and then either lean back and jab again or just throw to jabs he wont know what to do, he can see ur jab coming and he leans back or steps away but if you double it up and then mabey **** in the right hand afterwards and then move, its wilol be alot better,
dont flurry like him , but flurry in your on way by jabing and right ect and put him under presure,
try jab lean back jab, or stepfarwud jab, jab, or jab, jab, right hand , or jab, right hand ,...............you get the point,
just put him under presure thats all, he will find it hard belive me,
also you seem very static, move , cirlce left and then circle right, ect, ect, wwhile circleing right quikly shoot off a jab, or while cirlceing left or whatever,
basically im saying be unpredictble, and put him under pressure, throw in bursts, as well as the single jab,
and go for it! you both seem a bit half hearted and not much effort, mabey its because your heavyweights i dont know?
So next time your about to get into the ring remeber what ive said, plases just give it a try, and see how it goes,
you may get caught at first and stuff, but you improve,
now i dont know you so mabey ive just told you a load of crap you alredy no, but im just going on what i seen in the vid so erm good luck anyway,
you look worth while and have potentiol to win amature fights as youve sed youve wanted

also having rewatched your video i thought i should mention this...
he seems to throw random jabs wen your clearly miles out of range, wen he dose that dont just relax your self but see it as an opening for a fluurry,
so wen he dose one of them nice slow jabs wen your miles away, quickly step in and shoot a jab of your own into his face,
that is all thanx

see how he keeps his hands really close together on his chest or chin?
it makes ya kinda scared dosent it,
you feel as if wen you try and step in hes gonna **** a shot hard on ur chin and it makes you a little cautious...
you should try it wiht your size, keep your hands and body nice and tight, and hard to hit, stay relaxed and louse but compact and small,
then let louse wen u need 2

Cheers for the pointers bro!
I've got my debut bout 2moro night.
I know what you mean about looking half hearted. I have a habit of deliberately trying to slow the pace down. The guy I was sparring against is normally very busy, not particularly accurate, but tends to throw quite a lot of punches. So I deliberatley slow him down to my pace, I've tried it on a few lighter guys I've sparred with too.
Thanks for the advice though, will definatly take all your pointers in the ring with me. I'm just happy I've got to a level where I'm able to take a bout. I had to overcome serious mental blocks about getting hit man, it was rediculous! lol
