  • am i fit enough to do this run?

    I need to pass this run on monday its a 1.5mile run i usually run 2.66 miles sometimes more 3 times a week i go up alot of hills.
    I been in the gym 4 days this week but because i have a mark on my eye and my right hand is sorta hurting im gna give myself a break for a few days till sunday.
    Currently my body mass is 20.4 im 19 and 5ft7 and 9 stone /130lbs do u lot think im healthy enough to do this run? i need to do it in 10 minutes or under if anyone can give any advice? its gna be cross country.

    Yeah I think you should be able to do it. I think that the deciding factor will ultimately be whether you push yourself at the end or not. Good luck nonetheless bro.

    P.S. Maybe if you're not sure about the cardiovascular capacity, you could do some swimming a few days before this run. It will ease the stress on your legs and give you a helluva cardiovascular workout if you push yourself.

      thx i do swimming sometimes but not often maybe once every 2 weeks lol thats a gd idea though i wil do some swimming on saturday then run on sunday then i shud be ready for monday cheers mate.

          i guess this is for the army isit mate well it will be easier on the run because you will be so determind just keep going until ur legs come off lol

            You should be able to do it. I don't know what your normal running times are but those should give you a guide as to how long it is taking you to run. Try and take a stopwatch with you so that you are able to pace yourself and good luck!
