    Quick Vid of Bag Work

Recently got myself a punching bag. I've had it a few days and decided to take a video so I could see myself and try to improve, I've grazed my knuckles over the past few days working on it so I wasn't able to hit it as hard today as I'd have liked, but tips and comments would be cool:

    ok:
decent power, especially for a day off, and a good work rate.
    improvements to be made:
firstly, you have to twist your punches, your keeping you hand on its side, it needs to be twisted over for full power.
secondly, when your throwing combos you are dropping your hands between the shots too low, this would leave you wide open.
third, try to set up a bit better. youre square and your elbows are by your sides, they should be covering your body, thats why the arms are positioned there.
    well done and good luck

lol but the thing is, i dont respect excuses. it doesnt validate the mistakes or make them less noticable. i thought it was good that there was nothing in your thread about it being cold, or having worked out for 200 hours beforehand. just practice and listen to advice and youll do well.
well done getting back in to boxing

Yeh not as bad as I expected tbh.

Just keep that right on your chin instead of letting it drop and maybe work the bag more by moving round it. Obviously videos do limit this.
