nerves are good to have,they keep you alert and awake. if your always calm then your nervous system and your brain arnt going to be on its toes. your nervousness is just your adrenaline needing to go somewhere. thats why once your fighting your not nervous because your adrenaline has kicked in. it works the same way for a lot of people in other things like public speaking, sporting events, or any other kind of thing where your infront of a lot of people and your afraid of how your imagined by the crowd.

i get jumpy before a fight or sparring session, mainly worried that if i do badly i'll never succeed in boxing never do well etc....once im in the ring though im usually fairly relaxed after about 10 seconds, or so.....Comment

Hey man, I can totally relae. I'm currently seeing a psychiatrist as a result of my anxiety. The thing that helps me at the minute is lyeing down listening to music. But soon I shouldnt need to as I should be sorted.Comment

every single boxer gets nervous. theres no such thing as im not nervous.. but getting nervous can be a good thing it mkaes u more aware and alert so dont stress.. if your boxing at all ull get nervous sparring but the more u spar the quicker its gonna go away and before u know ur gonna love getting nervous nd excited because its gonna pump u up and want to make u spar or figt even moreComment
