Boxing & wrestling boots ...

Are boxing and wrestling boots the same(i got told only difference is thickness of the souls) and are wrestling just as good in the ring?
maybe someone shed some light on this

They're the same. And yes, you can use wrestling shoes for boxing. I think a lot of shoes they market as boxing shoes are actually wrestling shoes. Just make sure that when you look at the sole of the shoe, it is flat.

Looking at photos of wrestling vs boxing boots it seems the wrestling boots tend to curve upwards more, I have heard that they are grippier as well. But the curvature I imagine is designed specifically for wrestling and not boxing. For that reason I have stayed away from them.
