  • light middle/super welter or middle

    ok
    im 16 in july
and i plan to begin my amature career in the winter and whilst im still probably going to grow, wat do you think i should do.

i currently weight 163 pounds but have room for improvement
fairly low body fat % (about 10), quite muscular, 6'1
i reckon i could in my current state get inside the 155 limit of light middle (super welter). or would i be better off just bulking and staying within middleweight limits.

Hmm, light middle is a pro weight division, and it's 154, not 155. I'm assuming you're an amateur?
There is no light middle in the amateurs. Welterweight is 152, and middle is 165.

      i didnt realise that
so do people just fight within their divisions as varying weights?
