i was sparring my friend just like you do in they gym, headgear, groin protector, mouthpeice 16 oz gloves, and i was throwin a left hook to the body and landed it wrong..i didnt land with the glove, i landed with my palm so now the area between the thumb and the palm hurts like hell.and some of my wrist on both hands..i can still move both with no problem it just hurts like ****..i think it may just be bruised..has anyone ever experienced this? and if it is bruised, is that somethin major? or somethin that will heel in a couple of days?

If it's turning dark and getting swollen it's most likely bruised. Sometimes it can take weeks before it heals.
When I had it on my pinky I just wrapped it up and started hitting the heavybag again 2 days afterwards. It was fully healed a week afterwards though.
It was my left hand so at first I just threw alot straight rights and went easy on the left hook.

I still go to the gym every day. I still train just as hard. It is just a little bit more painful that usual.
Hand Injuries are part of boxing. I can't even remember the last time there wasn't something in one of my hands that hurt.
Just as long as it is not a fracture or a torn ligament, you just have to train through it.
