    I bet these are your symptoms.....

    * Pain in muscles & joints
    * Washed-out feeling, tired, drained, lack of energy, fatigue
    * Headaches
    * Inability to relax, twitchy, fidgety
    * Unquenchable thirst, dehydration
    * Lowered resistance to common illnesses; colds, sore throat, etc.
    * Moody, irritable
    * Altered sleep patterns
    * Depression
    * Loss of competitive desire
    * Decreased appetite
    * Weight loss
    * Persistent muscle soreness
    * Increased occurrence of injuries

    You overtrained and have depleted yourself badly. I did this to myself once badly.... I was drained and sleepless for 2 weeks and the grand finale was a bad cold, and soar throat and some weight loss. Depending on your overtraining it will not recover in 2-5 days. It will take over 10 days if you jumped right in from being fairly sedentary.

    Importantly.... SLEEP. Assure yourself 8-10 hours of sleep until it is over. Do not do any stressful workouts, some light jogging maybe. Be keen on your diet.... ADD ALOT MORE VEGGIES AND PROTEIN. And take a multi and extra VIT C.

    Not just your muscles are overstessed but also your heart, pituitary, and heart.

    Sleep and Eat.
    this man is correct.......start off at the Doctor's.......

      Ned, you hit the bullseye. This explains alot of things including this one time i met my puls on my exercise bike before going to bed, and it was 98 o_o ( Normal one before exercise was around 79-84 )I was tired and i haven't done any kind of exercises in the past 6-7 days, + it was cold in my room so im damn sure this is the kind of thing im having. I have all the symptoms including getting warm/cold ( just like a fever though im not having one ) just like that.. I'll try following your tips and see how things work out.. By the way, do this kind of thing add any sort of lifetime handicaps? like weakened heart or something like that

        I don't believe so.

        One of the times it happened was preparing for a Sub Grappling tournament, I wasnt eating right and was training real hard. Then being the genius I am I put myself on a more intense 6 week program to prepare for my matches, and was eating less to cut weight.

        The second was just being overzealous about boxing.

        Both times I got physicals. I have nothing wrong with me now. To recover I ATE ALOT. Tons of veggies, and 2g of protein per lb of bodyweight. I also ate whatever I craved, imo this is the time to do it, but it is just an opinion. I always made a concerted effort to eat lots of veggies and protein, but if i craved ice cream i ate it, if i craved salt I went and ate at McDonalds or the Pub..... I believe your body craves sometimes when it is lacking, and surely you are depleted. Give your body what it is asking for.

        Another good point I got from the Dr. was, It is better to go to sleep earlier rather than sleep later, and for me he was right.

        So, Eat a lot and eat well, if your body asks for something give it to it, and go to bed early every night.

        Definately see a Dr though just in case. It's always best to err on the side of caution. I have had some bad injuries and bad advice through the years. Best thing I ever did was get in touch with a sports medicine Dr. He saved my body, even from non sports related issues. I go to him for everything.

              Dont go taking ****ing creatine over it. ATALL.

              Just take your time off and do some serious resting, light jogging is fine and try and do some swimming, its perfect for relieving muslce soreness from boxing, trust.
