well right now, the supplement market has gotten very expensive, protein has gone up in price and the cheapest QUALITY brand you can get right now is probably either the low end Optimum Nutrition but I would go for Dymatize Elite. You can get them for $35 for 5lb tubs at dpsnutrition.com or 34.xx at amazon which has free shipping. Months ago these tubs were about $23 but those days are over for now, maybe if people stop buying supplements the companies will lower the prices back to normal. Creatine I would try out ethyl ester pills, supposedly better then monohydrate which makes you bloated. Amazon has Axis Creatine Ethyl Ester for $27 with free shipping, dps has the same brand for $20 I think but shipping you have to pay for all your items etc.. I havn't tried the axis creatine yet but will order it soon. Hope this helps bud.

With your protein supp you should be getting a whey protein isolate rather than a concentrate. Isolates are processed to remove the fat, and lactose, they are 90%+ protein by weight.
There is a lot of talk on this forum on creatine, and it seems to have may detractors on here, but I think the results are great. One of the main complaints is due to water retention and weight gain which is generally between 600g to 1kg. This can be avoided if you dont do a loading phase (this usually incolves taking 4 to 6 doses of 5g each daily over 5 days to saturate the muscles). If you take 3g of creatine a day you will hit saturation after about 28 days with no weight gain, bloating etc and still get the results. Co-ingestion with a substantial amount of carbohydrate (50-100 g) may enhance creatine uptake. Note that about 30% of people who take creatine do not get any benefit, so you need to give it a go and see.
Most creatine studies done involve creatine monohydrate. Howere creatine ethyl esther is becoming quite popular but has not had as much research done. Claims are that it is absorbed more readily into your muscles.

Designer Whey Protein, Natural flavour. No succralose or Aspartame. £22.49 delivered. I've had it for a month now and it's ace. They also have Vanilla, Chocolate & Strawberry but I would stay away from these due to the added sucralose/aspartame.
Btw, do you know aspartame is an "excitotoxin", meaning it's an added ingredient which is a boost to your tastebuds but a toxin for your brain. It's been linked to neuro-degenerative conditions like Alzheimers. While I'm on it, keep well away from MSG and transfats. MSG is also an excitotoxin and transfats are the worst fats you can get - severe cholestorol.

Look Detroit, I know that you know your ****. You know that aspartame was created (in a lab) by accident right, while a chemist from GD Searle was testing an anti-ulcer drug. The monster that is Monsanto bought GD Searle in 1985 and therefore owned the patent for Aspartame. But, 5 years earlier the FDA confirmed that it might induce brain tumours. Now, who was CEO of Searle at that time? None other than Donald Rumsfeld! In 1981, Raegan is sworn in as President and he along with Rumsfeld handpick Dr Arthur Hull Hayes Jr to be the new FDA Commissioner and in one of his first acts he overrules the FDA Board and declares Aspartame to be safe. Hmmm, something stinks.
I'm telling you man, this stuff is poison. Get the book "Excitotoxins - The Taste That Kills" by Dr Russell Baylock, recommended.
