  • Your Biggest Fears

When you step out into the ring, you throw all your fears away, and just say **** it.

But I'm just curious, for all of you that box, what are some of your biggest fears?
All of you are obviously brave men for pursuing boxing as it is, but I'm sure there are some things that just give you the chills.

For me, it would probably be spiders, blood tests, and heights.

I have no problem with physical pain - like punches and fatigue, but when it comes to injections/bites, it just freaks me the **** out! My parents and friends always laugh when they hear that a big guy like me is afraid of some little **** like needles and spiders.

What are some of your biggest fears, however funny they might be?

I'm not scared of any man i'm boxing in the ring. But if you put a gerbil, hamster, mouse or rat in front of me and i'll freak.

I can't be in the same room as one. I can't watch them on the television without squirming.

Take for an example a scene like in Rambo 1 or Indiana Jones or 28 Days later, where **** are crawling all over somebody and there trapped. I jump and bounce around the house shouting with my skin crawling.

      I hate ****ing ****.

**** Mick, you're like my mom. She ****s herself when she sees mice, god forbid a rat.

Personally, I don't like them, but I can't say I'm real afraid of them. Spiders, though - that's a different story.

Not so much a fear but I can not take tablets I always think that it will be death of me choking on one. Ever since as a kid when Pokemon was cool I swallowed a damage counter whole and ever since then I had **** myslef about swallowing things whole that are that size.

That and moths and spiders cant stand them.

Yeah I remember when I was about 10, I would refuse to take tablets because I would always begin to vomit when I get them in my mouth. One time my parents convinced me to try to take one of those bigass multivitamins, so I did. Once I got it in my mouth, I tried to swallow, but I just ended up choking on it and spitting it out.

Spiders are my biggest fear, although not as much as they use to be. If a big ass spider jumped in the ring during one of my fights Id probably just say **** it and get the **** out of the ring.

Edges. Not like corners, but the edges of high things like cliffs and buildings. Its kind of strange because I am also a rock climber, so I am not scared of heights, and I have no problem being high up on a rock face, but going over the edge is another thing all together. I always feel like I am going to get ****** over the edge when I get close.

I will go close if there is a railing there, but even then, I am holding onto the ***** so hard that there is going to be some permanent hand marks when I leave.
