    are you new to weightlifting?? if so, i would strongly recommend the book "starting strength" by mark rippetoe; if you are just interested in the workout, you can find it on bodybuilding.com; i'd get a link to it for you but the site's currently under maintenance.....

          agree, do you realize that bodyweight exercises are basically "weightlifting" with little weight

          besides, weight lifting is a GREAT way to improve explosive strength (if done correctly), a strength quality very helpful to boxers
