  • HELP!!!Married life havs turned me into a Phuckin Butterball

    I'm only writing this because I am at a point where my mind is so jumbled with past workouts and accomplishments that I don't know where to start to get my fat ass back in shape... I am 5'6" and weigh 250 lbs... ( I weighed 155 about 7 yrs ago now) so I'm not a fat fool no double chin and **** I just have a huge butt and gut right now...I jog around 3.5 to 5 miles a week, but that **** isn't working... I can job 3 miles straight and be sore but rarely tired... I remember when I ran track we used to warm up with 2 miles, that's why I feel my running isn't working...traditional working out and running have become so boring to me, but I reall NEED to get back in shape... I would love to join some type of fighting club, but where I live we have threee boxing rings, one is for the solidiers and the other two are for the young mexicans... I am at my wits end..

    Get ya ass down the gym. Quit whining about being fat on here when its on your fault. And if your running as much as you say you are you must have a **** diet to never lose weight. Run daily not weekly too.

        I don't eat breakfast or lunch and I guess I binge eat at night...but I stay within 2000 calories a day...

        I was going to start eating oatmel toast and egg whites from breakfast
        Ramen noodles for lunch
        and a 500-700 calorie dinner that consists rice fish or chicken and vegetables

        what is killing me, is I get extremely hungry around 11 pm every night...

          Say you little b*tch...you are speaking to a grown man...state something other than the obvious... I know I need to run daily, I know I need to eat right, but that's easier said then done when you are married with 4 kids, work 2 jobs and go to school...but thanks for the motivation though...

            Thats no good. You need to get ur metablosim going in the AM. You can't keep skipping breakfast and lunch. Also you should not eat past 2 hours before you go to sleep, especially binging, cause then you eat all this **** (when you havn't eaten all day) then pass out. Its just storing all those extra calories and turning into fat. Best thing to do is work out between 3-5 times a week. Try to eat healthy every 2-3 hours during the day. If you work at an office like me, bring your food in for the day. some healthy suggestions, veggies, lean meats (turkey/ chicken), fruits (esp citrus for weight loss), whole wheat breads/ pasta's, nuts (like almonds, cashews). Stay away from processed and fast foods. Also treat urself once a week to something/anything you want, treat it like a reward for doing good during the week. IF you can do this and still eat under 2,000 calroies a day, youlll be loosing weight. good luck

              Thanks for the advice...from what you just said and from what I know...it seems like I am suffering from a severe case of "Lack of Discipline"

                5'6 and 250? dude I am outta shape too but Im 5'11 237, you must be a portly mother ****er. I suggest actually working out and not typing it out, it works wonders...you sound like a woman crying about it man...You have a huge butt? go get in trouble, go to prison or jail and Im sure the "huge butt" will get worked out.

                  Good advice. To keep that metabolism kickin all day, spread your meals out to 5-6 small meals throughout the day. And eating late at night, right before you go to bed, is murder on your waistline. That's one habit that's especially hard to kick; I know, I've been down that road myself. But all it takes is a little willpower. If you want change, you have to be willing to accept whatever sacrifices that go along with it.

                    LACK OF DISCIPLINE . That is your problem, only you can change your habits.. you have to want it. We can type till our fingers fall off but you gotta apply what everyone is saying. Keep running 4 times a week and eating right and your bound to lose weight. I know its tough but if you have a goal and you really want to achieve it you can make it happen. Ive slipped up numerous times just gotta stick with it.
