But I have to say I wasn't impressed with that heavyweight. He had very slow handspeed, he had no snap in his punches at all. To be honest in an open class state championship he'd get a good ass wupping! Obviously he was stronger than you, but that was his only advantage. You got under his skin because you were out boxing him. Nothing worse for a big guy when you're sparring a smaller fella. You just wanna land the bomb to unsettle him, but when he starts outboxing you and moving in and out of range tagging you it can get so frustrating. And that's exactly what you did to him.

I was NOT impressed with the opponent at all. He had no head movement, a horrible jab and stood wide open, you coulda went to the body all day. As far as you are concerned, very nice left hook especially when you doubled it up. As the smaller man I would have liked to me more ring movement and double jabs. Also maybe more head movement comin in.

you looked pretty good. you have a really good left hand. some of your hooks were slaps though, which get penalized in amateurs. the one problem you really have is you drop your right hand to your waste when you get close to throw. this is really dangerous especially against a south paw. if you dont fix that you will get knocked out with a right, if you havent already. but you looked good in there.
