weighter ropes ? worth using?

what do weighted ropes actully do, i normally use just a standard speed one, but got a weighted one cheap and use it from time to time. what is it for?

for me the weighted rope works my shoulders and arms. it helps me build more endurance. i really would recommend the weighted jump ropes. ill do 2 rounds with the weighted and then 2 rounds with the speed rope.

o for sure brother. use both of them. the weighted one has helped me with building that shoulder strength to keep my hands up. i bought this nice one that you can change out the weight so it can be either weighted or speed.
