    dont work abs everyday to failure.

    if you work them everyday for fat burning do a moderate amount never intense, but if you want your abs to be strong an grow then you gotta do them 2-3 times a week only cause like all other muscles they need rest and food to grow if you overtrain them they wont grow.

      No offense mate but thats really not the best advice to give people. Sit ups absolutely do not help build your lower back. It is proven now that they can do some prolonged and permanent damage to your lower back. If you don't do them with correct form or arch your lower back it can screw it up pretty bad and put you out of action.

      There are many exercises you can do as a substitute for sit ups that work the area just as well, if not better actually. Take Pilgers great advice and find the best substitute exercises and get stuck into those. Just remember to keep resting your muscles otherwise they cannot rebuild themselves bigger and stronger. Keep pushing and advancing as well to keep your muscles from stagnating.
